The Challenge
Palletower is Europe’s largest stockist and manufacturer of roll pallets, stillages and plastic boxes, sought to reduce its carbon footprint and energy costs by adopting renewable energy solutions. Palletower was keen to explore the benefits of solar power and its potential impact on their operations.
The Solution
After a careful analysis of Palletower’s site and electrical consumption, ASG Energy Services proposed the installation of a 24.6 kWp solar panel system, comprising 60 high-quality solar panels, covering an area of 102 m2.
The Outcome
The system is forecasted to generate 19,562 kWh in year 1, significantly reducing their reliance on grid electricity. Their system will also help them achieve estimated savings of £4,291 in the first year alone, with a swift payback period of 5-6 years.
Furthermore, the installation allowed Palletower to make a significant environmental impact. Over a 25-year period, the system is estimated to save approximately 4 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, contributing to a cleaner and greener future.
“Thanks to the team at ASG Energy for making the process incredibly easy, we at Palletower are thrilled to be taking strides towards a sustainable future.”
